My class is designed with adventure in mind!
I strive to incorporate an experience into every lesson.
It is for that reason that you never know what you're getting into when you walk into my room. One day, there might find kids getting "pied" in the face as they learn about author's purpose. On another, you can find me dressed as a cafeteria worker, plopping imaginary scoops of mashed potatoes into students' trays, as students practice soft skills like eye contact and communication skills. You could walk in and step into a plate full of paint as students prepare a random act of kindness for someone in the community. Any time you enter my room, do so with caution and a "carpe diem" mindset!
I love teaching my students in an adventurous way because when kids are having fun, learning is extra sticky.
