I work at a fairly large elementary school in Minnesota. The students in my classroom vary quite a bit. I have some students who have just turned six and some that are turning eight. I have students that come into first grade reading at a beginning of Kindergarten level, and some that are reading at a fourth grade reading level. Their levels of phonics and reading skills can also vary just as greatly. Each students has unique needs but one thing they have in common is their love to learn. Each day they come to school excited for what is in store for the day and continue to grow as learners.
