My students in our K–2 autism classroom are creative, curious, and full of personality. Each child has unique strengths and challenges, and they benefit from a structured, supportive environment tailored to their individual needs. Some are just beginning to use words, while others are developing social and academic skills at their own pace. Many rely on visual supports, routines, and sensory tools to feel comfortable and successful. Despite their differences, they all share a love of learning, a need for connection, and the ability to shine when given the right support.
