I am returning to the classroom after spending a wonderfully magical year teaching art. I want to bring books to my students from a variety of places and genres. The books will spark a love of reading, and I can not wait to watch it happen. We will read picture books to dive into skills and strategies. The big component for us this year though will be a book study. It will pull us into a new world with each turn of the page and teach us compassion and empathy.
