Thank you for considering a donation to my classroom. My name is Jennifer Stier and I teach kindergarten in Puyallup, WA. I work at a Title One school and 67% of our student population qualifies for free or reduced meals. Title One is a federal program that provides funds to schools and school districts serving high numbers of economically disadvantaged children to ensure that high-risk students have a fair opportunity to earn a high-quality education. My school is one of the oldest buildings in our district and we serve one of the most diverse student populations in the community. We are a minority/majority school, which is very different from the other schools in the district.
My kindergarteners are curious, fun-loving, enthusiastic learners with very diverse learning styles, academic abilities and needs. My goal is to provide them with a high quality education and create successful, confident learners!
