My first graders are an amazing group of students. They are hard-working and always come to school with a sense of wonder. They put forth their best efforts to succeed, no matter their ability level or background. I am always proud of my students. My goal is to give them a warm and safe school environment for them to learn and grow. I also foster character development in my students. I incorporate the character strengths of grit, zest, social intelligence, gratitude, self-control, curiosity, and optimism into my classroom. I feel so fortunate to have such amazing students to teach. They inspire me everyday with their unending kindness, generosity, honesty, humanity, and fairness.
