The majority of our students come from single parent, low income families. Our free and reduced lunch rate is over 83%. Many of our students do not have the opportunity to practice language or math skills at home on a daily basis. The card-reader will provide additional practice for students to review oral language, vocabulary words, sight words, and math facts.
