New 6th graders are in transition! They are transitioning into Middle School pre-tweens! They have many adjustments this year. They will now have a class schedule, a locker, a variety of teachers and so much more! I will be teaching ELA. Middle schoolers are much more aware of the world around them. They are curious about how and why. I want to use an engaging, interactive resource that will allow us to explore different concepts and enjoy reading at the same time! Storyworks by Scholastic will provide a hands-on resource that includes assessment tools, high interest articles, technology resources and current events that my students are sure to enjoy!
