My students will often lose precious time fidgeting in their seat to get comfortable. With the flexible seating option, a student will be able to wobble while they work. This allows them to focus on learning a new skill or strategy. I often have to ask students with ADD or ADHD to stand in the back of the classroom while they work. This allows the student to fidget and other students to see the board. With flexible seating, the students will be able to be apart of the classroom and sit with a partner of their choice. All students should feel comfortable in their classroom.
