Our classroom consists of a very diverse population of students. Many of our students come from military families, where one or both parents may face deployment. A number of students also come from multi-generational households or have parents who face lengthy commutes, in order to provide a stable income. Additionally, with a high population of low income students, many families do not have the resources to assist their children in additional educational pursuits and, therefore, rely on their child's teacher to provide them with as many opportunities as possible.
Despite their varied backgrounds and obstacles, the students in our classroom are extremely inquisitive and eager to learn! They are always anxious to make connections and delve deeper into our subject areas by asking meaningful, thought-provoking questions!
