If my project is funded students will have another flexible seating option in our classroom. I only have 1 yoga mat in my classroom right now and all students want to use it. Having yoga mats as a flexible seating option will help all types of learners. For example, many of my students like to belly write or belly read. With only one yoga mat I am not able to help all learners complete work in a way that is comfortable to them. Some students have complained that their arms hurt when belly reading or writing because they do not have something comfortable underneath them.
