My students would utilize the Osmo Coding kits and Genius kits in centers where 3-4 students can work collaboratively to use logical thinking and problem solving. The Osmo kits will introduce the kindergarteners to the world of coding where they can use coding commands to guide a character to eat. The students will need to work together to program commands to achieve the goal. Genius kits will allow the students to discover science, math, and more with interactive games. The Osmo kits, used in conjunction with the iPads the class currently has, will allow the students to work in small groups to achieve a goal. Collaboration and problem solving in action!
