My students are amazing. They are eager to learn, desire to please, and full of lively energy. They learn best when not having to stay seated and/or still for long periods of time. My students truly are my kiddos. A few of my kiddos need extra assistance, struggle to stay focused and find pencil/paper tasks to be donating. However, they keep on amazing me.
We are from a Title 1 school that often cannot afford to meet the needs of individualized learning. The entire county falls under this category. All of our students receive free lunch and breakfast. We even partner with the local food bank to send home weekend meals for some students. Our classroom is small which hinders the type of activities and centers we can do. Nonetheless, we do our best to stay engaged without interrupting the learning of others in the classroom.
