I teach ELA to a boisterous group of 8th grade learners. Having looped up with this group from 7th grade, has allowed me the opportunity to get to know them on a deeper level. They enjoy reading and have ravaged through all the latest craze books in my classroom library. High profile questions in my classroom include: What do you recommend I read next? Do you have the next book in this series? Will you please buy the next book in this series? Do you have the book...? Have you read this book? Can you recommend another good series? My favorite comment - "I'm almost done reading this book, you better start thinking about what I should read next."
