The math kits and games that I am requesting will be put to great use! Due to the different ability levels of the students in my classroom, I provide daily interventions with my students. In doing so, students are involved in math stations every single day where they are given the opportunity to practice and learn different concepts based on their individual needs while I work with students one on one. The giant magnetic regrouping chart will help tremendously at my small group table because students will be able to follow each step as I demonstrate on the chart.
The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics!
The hands-on addition and subtraction regrouping and the fraction hands-on kits will provide students with different ways to learn math, by providing fun, hands-on and engaging activities. It is also beneficial that the building math skills playing cards and Power Pen math quiz cards are self-checking so that students can be responsible and accountable for their own learning while in independent stations or partner work.
