Having access to a calculator in Middle School Math is essential to student progress. I am asking for forty TI-108 Calculators. My students will use these calculators everyday in my classroom; whether it is to help solve a lengthy word problem, figure out the area of a given shape or aide in a struggling learners success. Not only will they be able to use these calculators on their daily classwork, they will also be encouraged to use them on state testing.
Let’s face it, most of us adults use a calculator everyday to help us solve problems quickly and accurately. Providing my students with these calculators would do the same for them.
