Students will develop social skills that seem basic in life but are missing in our kindergartens. They will learn how to share, how to be independent thinkers and how to let their imaginations fly!
Our students will be able to use their social or independent playtime to build on skills we are learning in our academics but using their own decision making and abilities. They will be able to learn how to build, create, design and speak with their peers constructively.
We will be focusing on specific state standards with our play equipment.
Speaking and Listening: They will be learning how to discuss things with each other while they are using dramatic play and other play centers. Learning to be problem solvers and be able to use their words to solve problems. I feel that with Covid we have really missed that interaction time where they can work together, talk together and be able to participate in group activities.
