My classroom is filled with amazing, diverse second graders. I teach students from all over the world, many learning English as a second language. I teach at a neighborhood school in a high-poverty area and many families are unable to provide their children with the supplies they need to succeed. My students are energetic and ready to learn and many have diverse needs. I use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure I meet the needs of each of my students. I believe that when students have the tools they need for success they are motivated to learn! My projects will be an important part of getting my students off to great start this school year.
