The materials needed for my classroom will help shape a successful school year by providing my students with an exciting learning environment! My students need a classroom rug to sit on with designated space for each of them. At this young age, they are learning how to sit, how to control their little bodies, and are being introduced to the exciting world of education! Here, they will learn about science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics! Our school is a STEAM Academy, and we want to get our kids excited about these areas of learning! I will read stories to them, teach lessons, go over our daily plans, and get to know each of them in order to bring in interesting lessons. A classroom rug is an essential tool for designing a friendly environment, classroom management, noise reduction, safety, and STEAM success! Lessons will be implemented in a positive space fostering literacy and understanding! We also need a LEGO set based on understanding emotions. As our little ones walk through the door each day, we want to create a strong social-emotional awareness in them. If they understand how they are feeling, they will be able to learn and grow in a more positive manner!
