My Students are engaged with real-life (non-fiction) photos and illustrations. Many of my students do not have to opportunities to get out into the community to explore the world around them. The Big World Magazine will give them deeper understanding of the topics we are discussing.
The photos in the magazines are amazing! It gives them a new perspective on seeing chicks hatch, for example, or what a groundhog is, or a social story about using manners with friends, or comparing a crocodile's teeth to their own.
The magazine will also come with online resources to continue lessons in class for small groups. Math games, science experiments, and more! My students will greatly benefit from the lessons that My Big World provides.
