These books will give students the opportunity to choose books that are interested in reading. Students who get to choose there own book are more motivated and have more fun reading. When my students get to choose there own book to read in reading groups they do better because they stay focused for longer periods of time. My students love all of these books. I would love to have sets of them to add to our small group time so that students can read them together and discuss the characters, plot, and other literature elements. Students learn so much from discussing these books with each other and expanding their academic vocabulary.
