Putting calculators in the hands of my struggling students will give them a chance to learn grade level material. They do not know basic math facts and our not able to learn new concepts due to this struggle. Calculators will help them to grow in the area of Math. We have a few calculators in our classroom, they share them. If we had enough for each student to use there own we would get through more material. The students could have more time to practice. Overall it would be great for all the students to have a calculator to use.
