I serve a unique group of students; my students are historically low-income, ethnically diverse scholars, all of whom are college-bound. Many of my students will be the first generation in their families to both graduate from high school and attend a college or university. Therefore, it is vitally important to me that my students get every high school opportunity that are readily available to more affluent students. My students are amazing, talented, and passionate scholars who inspire me daily. These students consistently make mature choices, ones that will benefit their communities and future, making a true multi-generational change. Each one of my students are held accountable to rigorous standards, including community service, enrichment, physical fitness exams, and maintaining a high grade point average.

About my class
