Flexible seating is an effective learning tool aimed at increasing the engagement and productivity of students within the classroom. By providing students with a variety of seating options rather than the conventional plastic chairs and desks, we allow students to be far more comfortable when learning. We also allow them to make their own choices in their learning environment. Supplying my students with these options, aids in students' accountability in their educational growth.
Teachers that use this tool see their students' excitement and willingness to learn expand.
This project will give my students the opportunity to make their own seating choices daily in the classroom. Students who need a little more movement while sitting can use the majority of the items from this project to return that energy back into them focusing on their lessons. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
