We are mostly Title 1 students (low socioeconomic), but they love learning! They get frustrated at looking up words in the dictionaries I purchased from the dollar store (it's all I could afford), because many definitions are not in there. However, they persevere and continue to work on it. They go online to look words up, but I have 1 computer and 28 students, so that doesn't work out so great, either. They are all excited to be at the new school, but at times frustrated with the lack of resources. I'd like to see their faces if we could open up new dictionaries and thesauruses!
