My classroom is filled with students from Hispanic and Latino countries who speak Spanish as their native language. Each student has moved to the United States within the last three years and is considered "English Language Learners." Our classroom diversity makes for a very accepting and safe environment for the kids to not just learn English, but conquer all subject areas as well.
