Yes, it is a digital age and we are allowing our students to turn in some assignments online, but the need for printing still exists. Students still create products like newsletters, research diagrams, published short stories, brochures, etc. that need to be printed. Oftentimes it can be challenging/costly for a student to turn in a hard copy that looks as good as its digital counterpart. Many students come to school saying they don't have access to a printer at home, but they need to print out an essay/brochure. Many of our students come to school with Google apps on their mobile/tablet devices and they can show they completed their assignment, but they just can't print it. Having a printer that is compatible with these devices will provide our students with an increased access to technology.
