These students are sponges! They are so eager to learn and soak up every bit of knowledge they can. I have parents contacting me on a regular basis to share what their child came home excited about. My responsibility is to ensure that when these students leave my class in May, they have realized that learning is exciting, rather than a chore. It doesn't matter their background, culture, language abilities, or socioeconomic status- each of these students should be given everything they need in order to succeed and move on to their next learning adventure, and that's my goal!
