Our students are diverse and coming from all walks of life where some have plenty to where some have nothing. We are a large high school, in a large rural area serving about 2300 students. Some students have to travel 30 minutes to an hour to get to a store that would have items such as bilingual dictionaries and books, and this is only if their family has the money to drive there and buy the items. Our classes are large and the students all have different learning styles and abilities. The students enjoy learning modern languages and working with technologies when they have the chance. They are more apt to learn and study when they have technology available to them. This makes their learning more interactive and longer lasting.
