Our class is a second grade classroom in Southern California at a Title 1 school. Our population is mostly Hispanic children, and our class is 75% English Language Learners . At our school, students are encouraged to show respect, be responsible, and be safe. My students are developing their love for learning, and DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read) is becoming one of their favorite times of the day.
