This rug that I am requesting with this project will give my students more space to sit and move without bothering the other students. It will also make it easier for them to find their place to sit since the carpet has defined squares. This will also be a place where some center activities will take place and by having defined spaces it will help the students know where to go and the boundaries of their center. This carpet will also have extra space for those times when I have a few extra students and they will be able to sit on the carpet without further crowding my students or having to sit on the floor.
