A large, colorful rug will provide a warm gathering space for morning meeting, mini-lessons, shared reading, partner work, and social skills lessons. Because this rug has designated sections, each student will enjoy his or her own space. The rug will enable students to efficiently work as partners, in small-groups, or as a whole class. The students will be able to sit/lay comfortably on a clean and inviting classroom rug. The learning activities that take place on the carpet are essential to building the educational foundation that will assist them in succeeding in the classroom as well as life. My students are "Can Do Kids!"
