I work in a community with students who love coming to school, with families who are truly appreciative of what educators are doing in the community. Many times these students come from single-family households, low-income households, and/or substance abuse in the households. These kids love coming to school and working hard, but resources and circumstances can be challenging.
I will be starting the school year going into my 4th year of teaching in a Brick and Mortar classroom. Each year my love for teaching has grown deeper. With every year that passes, I want to provide and do anything I can to ensure I am setting my students up for success.
Thank you for your help and consideration in assisting me in creating a classroom environment where my students feel loved, welcomed, and most importantly, that they can be successful.
