Our students love hands-on, engaging activities. They are currently learning computer coding but we are looking to take it up a notch and include a STEM challenge using coding and robots.
Our students will be so excited to program the robots, furthering their knowledge of code while also being able to see their coding in action. Whether it be racing them, making them dance or running them through an obstacle course, the critical thinking and logical step-by-step coding process helps them to think in a more independent manner than that used in their usual classroom instruction. This elevates their structured learning process from textbook learning to an exciting hands-on activity with an independent thinking process.
The students will feel that they have an active role in their learning process by deciding as a group what they want the robot to accomplish all while having fun learning how to make it happen.
