I teach a second chance reading. This class is designed for middle school and high school students who are not proficient in reading. Many of my students have struggled with reading for years. As a result, many of my students do not enjoy reading. I try to motivate my students with topics and series they enjoy. My goal is that reading becomes much more than a fundamental need. It becomes an enjoyable pastime.
