I am a Kinder bilingual teacher and feel honored and blessed with each one of my students. Everyday they make me proud and even when we have those not so good days, we learn from them and grow. We prepare for life by talking about real-life situations that we may encounter and how we can face them. We know that all the things we learn will help us now and in our future. We talk, read, and write about the different professions and jobs we can have when we grow up. We also talk about the importance of going to college and being successful-productive adults. As we read different stories, passages, paired selections, and books, we can compare and contrast the difference in what we are reading. These discussions help build student vocabulary and expose them to different author's point of views. My students are higher leveled thinking and love the challenge of reading and comparing two different author's with differe
