At the training these specific type pencil sharpeners were recommended to be used by the students independently to sharpen their own colored pencils for their books.
Colored pencils will be used to write and illustrate our own book after author studies, illustration studies, and other various topics throughout the year. Unlike markers, pencils are inexpensive and will not run through the book pages.
The date stamps will be used by students to stamp each book they write and the pencil boxes will used to store the colored pencils in for student use.
These materials are essential to help us grow and learn in our illustrations, as well as provide easy opportunities to change any mishaps. Next year I look forward to continuing the write a book project in my classroom.
