My name is Leslie Dominie and I teach the Special Day Class at Buckley Elementary. I am originally from the great state of Texas, Dallas area specifically, and moved here four years ago. I am entering my 10th year of teaching and my 3rd year in the wonderful Burton School District!
Special Education is my passion. I believe that every child is capable of learning, but it is up to us as educators to find a way to reach them. One of my favorite quotes is this,
"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." ~ Ignacio Estrada
