My philosophy of education is to create a safe and positive learning environment for my students to flourish mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. For this project, my goal is to make sure that my classroom is set up to do just that! As a first-year teacher, I am starting from the ground up. I lack the essential materials needed to make memorable classrooms. This project will help me to get a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, which will go towards purchasing resources for displaying the alphabet, numbers, and a word wall in the classroom for the students to see at all times. Also, I will be able to purchase resources from Teachers Pay Teachers that will allow me to have an amazing morning meeting/carpet set up that allows my students to go over the days of the week, calendar, weather, and more!
