Having a 3D printer will help students collaborate with each other and build a sense of connection they long for. For our new project student will design a totem pole based on symbols of unity, strength, and commitment. They will be divided into groups while working from home. Each will create different sections which will then be printed and assembled. Once completed every class will participate in a virtual art exhibit within our school to showcase their achievements and designs. I believe this will provide them with a sense of connection and optimism.
