Fifth graders need visuals and hands-on materials in order to fully grasp complicated math concepts. Visual reminders displayed daily in our classroom will help students to solidify these concepts. Additionally, the math games will help students practice new concepts in a fun and engaging way. Working with their peers to practice these concepts (while also having fun!) will help to build a classroom community.
Students who typically struggle in math will become more engaged through playing math games with their peers. By donating to this project you will help my students learn to love math and enjoy time learning with their peers in a positive environment.
