Our school district has been fortunate enough to be provided with 1:1 Chromebooks for each student at our school, thanks to the voters of Tempe, AZ. Many of our students do not have technology at home, and this is the first computer they have ever had.
Having daily access to a Chromebook is teaching them crucial 21-century skills which help prepare them for the future. While each student has a Chromebook, we are in need of more chargers. We are looking to get at least 5 chargers per classroom, so that no student has to sit out of an activity because their Chromebook isn't charged.
Some students don't have the resources needed to charge their Chromebook at home, so it's important we provide the opportunity to charge at school. We would also like to have a supply of Chromebook chargers that students can "buy" with PBIS (positive behavior, doing the right thing) incentives.
