I have students who are going to in-person school for the first time (no preschool experience) as well as some who are working on social-emotional goals in their IEPs. The items in this list will be used in our "Safe Place" in our classroom where we work with the students to help them recognize their emotions, work on problem solving strategies and make helpful choices at school.
By donating to this project, you are supporting our work in getting our all of our Pre-K students to work on their self-regulation and social emotional skills so they can be ready to learn!
The resources will help the Pre-K students name their emotions, calm their bodies, feel, attend, and choose from available choices and finally solve socio-emotional challenges. When our Pre-K learners are able to self-regulate, they are able to take on more big brain learning.
