I am a primary grades science teacher in Arizona. I teach Science/Social Studies and Technology to multiple second grade classes. STEM requires technology and science and math to be used together and integrate with Language Arts. This means lots of hands on materials, and I do not have that arsenal of hands on teaching materials to help my students grow and learn. Arizona is a state whose legislation seems to not take education seriously and back it financially, my students suffer. My students live in a low socioeconomic area, and appreciate all the public support that we can get!
