We are taking part in "March Madness" by reading a selection of books addressing diverse situations children have experienced.
By reading these titles, our students will learn about the experiences of others as well as learn tolerance and acceptance.
This is a perfect way for us to conclude our Black History Month lessons as well as march into March, Women's History Month! From sports to music, politics to the arts, it's important our students see the contributions of all to our world. We encourage our students to express themselves in many avenues and with voracious readers, we need to continue to support their reading appetites with diverse titles.
