My classroom is full of 5th graders who are excited to be at school. They come from a small farming community where most of them receive free or reduced lunch. Our community is centered around agriculture. Many families work on potato farms or dairies. Our school is the heart of the community where people come together to support each other. Once you are a part of our school you are part of a big family, who watches out for one another. I am grateful for a way to help provide necessary materials to my students without burdening the community with more financial strain. Of course I think my class is the best in the school. They are so fun and always excited to learn!
