My fourth grade students are from Los Angeles, California. They are enthusiastic and dedicated learners in our demanding Dual Language Program. They learn all subjects in English and Spanish. They attend a high poverty Title I school, with a predominately Latino population. They all receive free school breakfast and lunch. Despite their many challenges they always arrive to school with a smile and eager to learn. Donors Choose has been an amazing support providing my students with essential materials, engaging and academic resources. These resources have provided my students the opportunity to engage in meaningful learning. Most importantly Donors Choose is providing equity in student learning.
