Many of my students come from low-income households, which makes it difficult for them to access the technology platforms we use in the flipped classroom. In order to create a more equitable and fulfilling learning environment, I hope to have a few tablets that can run all of the programs for 8th grade and Algebra instruction for them to bring home on occasion. When student can access the assignments at home, they will be more prepared to learn actively in class. This will also help them learn how to learn online, which is an invaluable skill in an increasingly paperless world.
