Kindergarten is the best! I have a class of 17 Kindergartners who come from a variety of backgrounds and income-levels. While some students come from upper-middle class homes, others come from low-income households. Regardless of their personal backgrounds, however, all of my students are eager to learn and grow. I believe a Kindergarten classroom should be a place where creativity and exploration are a must - I want my students to leave Kindergarten loving school.
