My students come from diverse countries, including Ecuador, Honduras, The Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico,Guatemala and El Salvador. They receive their education in a wonderful New York Public School in which each day they face many challenges, My students currently receive a dual language education which means they receive academic instruction in two languages (English and Spanish). My students have the biggest desire to master both languages, some of them even ask me if they can come up for lunch just so they could use the resources available for them! They are the most well behaved, caring, dedicated students I have ever met (and I am not saying that because I am their teacher). What's most amazing about my students is that not only do I believe in them, but they believe in themselves. It is truly a fantastic experience to teach these hard working students.
